About The Hidden Beach Organisation CIC
The Hidden Beach Organisation CIC is a community interest company run by a team of skilled and experienced individuals who are passionate about supporting and promoting our local not-for-profit music and wellness community. Our team is involved in various artistic endeavors, including music, wellness, dance, workshops, and more.
Each year, we host a music and wellness festival that brings communities together and supports the development of music activities while enhancing the overall wellness of the wider community. Due to increasing demand, we plan to expand our festival activities in 2025.
Why We Need Your Help
Running these activities requires significant funding. While we generate some revenue through sponsorships and ticket sales, we need additional support to meet our growing goals. As a fundraiser, your efforts will directly contribute to enriching the cultural and wellness landscape of our community.
Role and Responsibilities
Fundraising: You will be responsible for identifying and securing funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and donations.
Bid Writing: Craft compelling proposals to secure grants and funding from various sources.
Networking: Engage with potential sponsors and partners to build lasting relationships.
Strategy Development: Work with our team to develop and implement fundraising strategies.
Skills and Experience Required
Experience in fundraising and/or bid writing within the nonprofit arts sector or a similar field is desirable.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
A passion for the arts and community development.

Practical Considerations
Commitment: A few hours per week, volunteering from home on a flexible basis.
Meetings: Attendance at some of our committee meetings (about eight times per year) would be helpful. These are held in the early evening at a location in Hastings.
